Hi, I'm Jakob.

I’m a designer who enjoys creating and experimenting. building scalable systems for products, designing immersive VR worlds, or experimenting with new ways for people to interact and connect.

I’ve spent the past decade at iChoosr. In that time, I’ve grown from a designer supporting marketing and dev teams into a Product Designer focused on improving and evolving our digital products. My work has involved everything from UI design and website improvements to building design systems, improving accessibility, and helping teams create more consistent experiences.

I genuinely enjoy bringing structure to complex challenges by creating reusable components, refining workflows, and finding ways to make products easier to build, maintain, and use.

Much of my professional work has been focused on continuous product improvements and long-term evolution rather than standalone portfolio projects.

Outside of design, I’m usually working on something creative in one form or another. I draw inspiration from a mix of interests including music, DJing, internet communities, movies, travel, bike touring, cats, and medieval fantasy. I enjoy exploring different worlds, aesthetics, and experiences, and bringing those influences into the things I create.
